Business 101 “Keeping customers happy” by Gastech Australia.

Once an order or a service job is placed with any supplier the most important responsibility of the supplier is to keep that customer updated on what’s happening with their job good or bad. The more information you can give the customer when they want it, the happier that customer will be dealing with that supplier again. If that customer has to constantly call the supplier up the supplier is not doing a good job.

Gastech Australia has its own proprietary built operating management system which has endless amounts of internal tracking and information which we use internally to monitor each and every job. When a customer enquires about a job the staff passes this information out to the customer. This is all well and good and has worked for many years for us. But GasTech wants to make it better and take it one step further to make GasTech Australia stand out above other suppliers.

The latest update in our system, when we open up a new job our customer will automatically receive an email with hyperlink attached. On clicking the link the customer will automatically be linked into our system and it will bring up their job with all the notes associated with there job at the time.

As their job passes through our system more and more notes are added giving our customers all the information they need. Courier details, consignment note numbers will all be there if applicable.

This we feel is a significant step forward in our operating system and we will continue to make it better.

  • & much more as required


We have all this information on our automated systems so why not let our customers have access to it when they want it, not only when the office is open.
