This year the Gastech Team chose to let off Steam and go head to head in an Enduro Super Kart Race at the Wannaeroo Raceway for our end of year wind up. Also an excuse to wear some really cool, tight fitting race suits!

After a few ginger, water testing laps the adrenalin soon kicked in and everybody had there foot hard on the accelerators and forgot about the brakes.

Some impressive spin outs, and detours into the sand and barriers followed but as the laps went by it soon became apparent that the efficiency of our Admin Girls Vanessa and Renae were pack leaders and unstable.

The guys laughed this off nervously, but as the chequered flag was waved the results came in and confirmed that Renae had taken out not only the fastest lap of the race but also the highest speed !!!  95.188kmph Go Girl !!!

The girls came second in the whole race to Steve Bond our Service Manager and Lee in Research and development, consistency paid off.

As expected upper management spent most of the time spinning round in circles chasing their tail, and going the wrong direction.

Trophies were awarded and soon after the excuses from the guys started to flow. Slow Kart, Dirty Visor, Wobbly seat, tyres to round!!!

Suck it up guys. After 50 laps there is no doubt that the Gastech lady drivers are a force to be reckoned with.

I personally was wearing the wrong type of shoes otherwise I would definitely would have won!
