Disposable cylinders

Cal GasesBecause of our focus on the market place, the Cambridge MD facility is dedicated almost solely to the Industrial Hygiene gas business. They provide calibration standards and related equipment to customers around the world from this single location. This focus, with research and development, manufacturing and global distribution under one roof, ensures consistent, accurate and stable gas standards. Our commitment to the environmental and industrial hygiene market is total. As the leading supplier and vendor of choice to this market, we are obliged to maintain our leadership in order to grow and prosper.

ISO 9002 Certification
As part of our commitment to excellence, the Cambridge, MD facility has received and continues to maintain ISO 9002 Certification. This is but another example of the investment AIR LIQUIDE AMERICA CORPORATION has made in order to provide our CALGAZ customers with the highest quality gases, equipment and customer service.

Quality
Following are some of the key items that consistently bring CALGAZ customers the quality that you can count on: * Gas Mixtures - All gas mixtures are made gravimetrically. All master blends are analysed 100%. Lot analysis on transit filled cylinders. All gas mixtures are NIST Weight Traceable.

  • Cylinders - All cylinders are leak checked with a mass spectrometer. All cylinders are pressure checked. All lots of cylinders are traceable by lab database.
  • Regulators - All regulators are designed and built in-house. Rigid quality control of all supplied machined parts. Statistical Process Control in place. 100% of regulators are function tested. All regulators are leak checked. Full two year warranty on all regulators.

These regulators are a single stage design used for the 2AL, 8AL, 6D, 7EOC, 7HP and 5E cylinders. The 700 series regulators are preset to deliver gas at a flow rate specified by the user. The 700 series regulator may be divided into three groups.

These compact single stage stainless steel diaphragm regulators are designed for use with the 2AL, 8AL and 6D cylinders. They can provide either an adjustable flow or pressure output. Typically used with low ppm reactive gases and other high purity gas mixtures. They are preset at our production facility to a user specified flow or pressure. The 1700 regulators are designed for high purity, low flow rates, and adjustable delivery pressure as required. The patented two stage DFR 2000 series regulator is designed for use with instruments that utilize a pump to draw the calibration gas. The regulator provides the exact amount of gas the instrument pump requires. This simple-to-use regulator makes calibration quick and easy by eliminating the need for sample bags, flow meters, or special operator training. The 4200 series regulator, also known as the “Trigger” is designed to provide aerosol capability. The "Trigger" can be used with the 2AL, 8AL, and 6D cylinders. Pressing the trigger activates the regulator and dispenses gas at a preset flow rate specified by the user. The trigger can also be locked in the “on” position for continuous gas flow.
