Service Technician Job in Gastech WA office

GasTech Australia is one of Australia's leading manufactures of Gas and flame detection systems. Our systems are supplied to all ranges of industry from Oil & gas to Australian Submarine Corporation. The company is a secure company with market leading products which are exported around the world. We are looking for more technicians to help cope with our growing work load in the Perth office maintaining all of our equipment.

Work environment:

  • 5 day per week 37.5 hours per week (9am-5pm)

You will be responsible for trouble shooting, regular maintenance and breakdown repair, you will ensure that client satisfaction is at a premium and everything is done in a safe and efficient way to uphold the company name. This role is majority metropolitan based however there will be some intra and interstate travel required including the opportunity for international travel if available. You will become an integral part of the Perth operation and will report directly to the Service manager. 90% of the workload will be in house 9-5, 5 days a week style work. There will be site work fly in and fly out style. You must be prepared to travel and work on sites.

Qualifications:

  • Eager energetic personality
  • Current Drivers License
  • Must have electronic/electrical experience
  • Good hands on experiences with electronics
  • Must be able to speak and understand English.
  • Police clearance
  • Fit and healthy
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment
  • Well mannered and presentable
  • Must be an Australian citizen

Base wage is indicated on 37.5 hour week in house work. Site work is calculated at a much higher rate.
