Gastech Australia provides comprehensive training for all our supplied instrument types & systems.
Training is available at two levels i.e.
Level 1 – targeted towards Instrument Engineers & E&I Technicians. Includes comprehensive information on specific instrument types and also provides step by step training for instrument onsite maintenance & calibration requirements. Training conforms to AS60079.29.2:2008 (Instrumentation Performance & Maintenance Standard) & training outcomes are accessed as per HB329:2009 (non-formal learning guidelines).
Level 2 – targeted toward operators. Includes general information on various instrument types, principles of operation, understanding instrument operational outputs, measurements and fault indications. Training is defined to instrument types operators will be working with.
Training conforms to AS60079.29.2:2008 (Instrumentation Performance & Maintenance Standard) & training outcomes are accessed as per HB329:2009 (non-formal learning guidelines).
All trainees are issued with a Certificate of Competence on successful completion of the defined training modules. Completion assessment included.
Theoretical & Practical demonstrations of required outcomes.
Training is generally conducted in class sizes of 10 to 20 persons. For large group training requirements a maximum class size of 30 persons is recommended.
For trainees able to attend Gastech Australia’s , Perth facility, training is conducted in class room & instrument workshop environments at Gastech’s Wangara facility.
For clients requiring On-site Training requirements, Gastech Australia also provides Trainers on a fly in / fly out basis.
Training Packages are specifically tailored to individual clients and site requirements. Training manuals, hand outs etc. are provide inclusive to Gastech’s Training Package. Please refer to Gastech Australia Schedule of Rates for applicable costs.
